The method behind our madness:

The members of APPEARR pride ourselves on stepping away from the usual goal of paranormal investigators. Typically, the intent is to prove paranormal activity at any cost, despite other rational possibilities or the well being of a client. However APPEARR takes a more contemporary approach to the so-called supernatural and instead attempts to prove those darn ghosts wrong. We revolve our ideologies around science and logic and put forth much effort into dispelling what is thought of as paranormal. This is not only to save-face for the paranormal community, but to also cradle the peace of mind that our clients are so often on the brink of losing.

If it is unexplainable, then we will leave it as such. But until absolutely all reasons and possibilities are ruled out, nothing is considered paranormal by APPEARR. We have far too much respect for this vast, virtually unmarked universe as to be so arrogant to think that just because we're not used to something means it isn't explainable or natural.

We do not base our investigations off good and evil or spirits and souls. We merely examine the claims brought to us, rationalize all contenders for the cause and come to a conclusion. We refuse to deem an event paranormal simply to receive payment or a worth-while reaction from a customer. We also believe in reinventing the term "paranormal," so that it is associated more with ab normal rather than something unnatural and of a different world. Everything that occurs on this earth is, obviously, natural. However that does not excuse the possibility of it being something defying explanation. We call it as we see it, and that is what so crucially sets APPEARR apart from the majority of investigation groups in operation

Goals

APPEARR's goals are rightfully defined as better understanding our interpretations of both mental and physical phenomena. Of course, we would love to make a discovery in the quantum field and perhaps sciences not yet defined or determined. APPEARR's goals shall always reinforce public awareness through various educational explanations.

Our goal is to bring a rational and critical yet open minded approach to the paranormal field. We do not storm into a site assuming that there is paranormal activity; the goal is to exclude all rational explanations and reasoning, and through scientific methods conclude whether there are paranormal forces at work or not.

This site, APPEARR.com, was created in hopes of reaching those outside of our local areas and to provide a service that is guaranteed hocus-pocus free. We research thoroughly and realistically and approach the situations with a skeptical view. We are not here to prove any sort of paranormal existence, but to help those who feel threatened by what they think is paranormal by giving them reasonable answers and insights.
